Role & Responsibilities

Senior Stock Plan Administrator / Senior Analyst, Share Plans (Global) - this role can be remote based in the UK or US

The Opportunity

The key objective of this role is to lead and continuously develop the day to day management of the groups Global Share Plans (options and employee purchase).  This role sits within the Reward team and is designed to provide wide ranging experience with share plans administration work.

The role will assist with the life cycle of the Company's share plans, including communication with participants, monitoring employee queries, liaising internally with relevant departments (e.g. finance, payroll), and leading all activity related to the effective management of the employee share purchase and option plans from enrolment and grant through to exercise.

The Role

  • Responsible for the compliance and administration of the Company's share plans. This includes ensuring the grants of options/shares, exercises and lapses of awards are handled efficiently and accurately within specified timelines
  • Collaborate with company Legal, Finance, Total Reward and HR teams to anticipate, implement and/or address equity compensation matters
  • Liaise with our share plan administrators
  • Coordinate nomination processes for executive share plans
  • Ensure compliance with tax legislation and support tax filing requirements
  • Work with other internal stakeholders to ensure all relevant share plan documentation and communications are defined and issued in a timely manner
  • Provide management information for statutory and regulatory reporting (e.g. Annual Report)
  • Leading on regulatory company reporting requirements
  • Deliver knowledge on the market and advise accordingly
  • Assist in the planning and implementation of compensation programs and projects
  • Assisting with the global employer tax withholding process through payroll following option exercises
  • Producing accurate employee enrolment and eligibility data for the share plan provider
  • Receiving data and instructing finance and payroll
  • Maintaining an internal share plans tracker
  • Processing invoices and tracking spend
  • Build and deliver engaging employee communications
  • Execute the timely processing of operational transactions, including data management, reconciliation, processing, reporting and problem solving
  • Organize, develop and maintain procedural and process documentation to ensure accurate transaction processing and minimize risk
  • Assist in identifying new system tools and enhancements to existing systems
  • Implement projects to enhance business operations
  • Act as a point of contact for all Share Plan matters
  • Assisting with the drafting of vesting and maturity documentation and communicating in a timely manner to participants

Required Experience

About You:

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with exceptional attention to detail and high level of skills in communication and data management, along with the following skills and experience:

  • UK or US share plan management qualifications/certifications
  • Previous experience of employee share plans in a global environment
  • Experience with US listings and companies
  • Highly numerate with keen attention to detail and strong data management skills
  • Confident and proficient verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to discuss technical details at all levels in a manner that helps the listener to understand them
  • Demonstrable project management skills
  • Advanced use of excel e.g. pivot tables, v lookups etc.
  • Ability to exercise confidentiality and discretion
  • Ability to work at pace and to prioritise workload
