The German Society for Interdisciplinary Emergency and Acute Medicine (DGINA) was founded to jointly improve the optimal care for people who become acute emergency patients due to illness or accident.
The most important goal of the DGINA is the promotion and development of interdisciplinary, professional emergency medicine in Germany as an independent specialist area as well as the establishment and support of interdisciplinary emergency departments.
This year's congress motto is: "Emergency room powerhouse". With this concise congress maxim combined with an unusual poster motif, the conference seeks to summarize the quintessence of years of activity in the way emergency medical care has been approached: It doesn't work without the emergency rooms! They are the source of acute and emergency medical competence, as well as the place of qualified interprofessional action.
