Founded in 1882, the DGIM represents the interests of all internal medicine. As a medical and scientific society, they combine all internal focal points: Angiology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, geriatrics, hematology / oncology, infectiology, intensive care, cardiology, nephrology, pneumology and rheumatology.
The main topic of the DGIM Annual Conference 2023 is “Systemic Thinking - Individual Therapy”. The aim should be to always keep the overarching connections of a disease in view, no matter how small the organ of origin or the primary focus, or to broaden the horizon to that effect.
