The German Diabetes Association (DDG) is one of the largest medical and scientific associations in Germany with over 9,000 members, including physicians in primary and secondary care, scientists, psychologists, pharmacists, diabetes specialists and other diabetes experts. The DDG supports science and research in diabetes. It is also committed to further training, certifying treatment facilities and developing medical guidelines.
Every year, around 7,000 participants travel to Berlin for the meeting. The congress provides visitors with an up-to-date overview of the current state of scientific developments and a concrete outlook on the causes of diabetes mellitus, as well as topics such as health services research, prevention and treatment.
Under the motto: “Diabetes. Environment. Life. Perspectives from all angles”, the organizers would like to use the days of the congress together with you to look at and discuss perspectives on diabetes mellitus from all angles. You can expect a program that offers a lot of space for discussions and interaction in addition to the scientific lectures in symposia, poster sessions and workshops.
